I know how it feels to be stuck—trapped in your own head with no clear way out. I’ve been there, trying therapy over and over, only to feel like nothing was working. It was frustrating and exhausting, and at times, I felt completely hopeless. But I kept going, and eventually, I found a therapist who truly connected with me and helped me change my life. That experience is what inspires the work I do today. At the end of the day, we’re all just humans navigating life the best we can, and I’m honored to be here to support you on your own path, wherever it leads.

How I work

I balance professionalism with a down-to-earth, relatable vibe, bringing warmth, hope, and even a little humor into the process. Healing doesn’t have to feel clinical—it can feel empowering and deeply personal.

Therapy should feel like a safe space.
Growth can only happen when you feel safe, seen, and supported. I believe therapy should be a judgment-free zone where you can show up as your full self—flaws, fears, and all—and know that you’ll be met with kindness and care. This doesn’t mean that it won’t be uncomfortable, discomfort is part of change and growth, but you should feel safe enough to choose to sit in that discomfort.
Fun Fact:
My daughters are the inspiration behind the name Blue Sunshine Therapy. My oldest, has always been crazy about the color blue—you can see her wearing it in this picture! My youngest, somehow ended up listed as “My Only Sunshine” in my phone years ago.
After weeks of brainstorming for the perfect name, I kept coming back to Blue Sunshine Therapy. It felt meaningful, personal, and even a little symbolic. Plus, it encourages a bit of psychological flexibility (a key indicator of mental health), so it truly seemed meant to be—at least for me!
